Downtime for upgrade
There was an approximately 10 minute outage today while I updated some server software. This is the first time I've taken the Minix machine down since transitioning to the new dedicated server. With an uptime of about 40 days it seems that Minix is proving a nice stable server OS.
I installed a CGI script that runs the 'uptime' command for those curious about the uptime of the server.

Just came across your blog looking for device driver tips and saw this article. I thought I would put up the uptime on my Minix development server:
# uptime
8:12 up 134 days, 21:25, 1 user, load averages: 0.01, 0.00, 0.00

I use this server pretty heavily to do porting/development, so it has plenty of opportunities to crash. :) The last reboot was caused by a power outage at my desk. Without that reboot, it would read over 1 year of uptime!
